1worldspace has been something really special to me. When I started in 1997 as the second employee of 1worldspace in India, I thought the only challenge was to set up a satellite-based DTH foreign media company, as none of these were legally allowed in India. Little did I know at that time that I would at the time that I would get arrested and go to jail, that I would travel thousands of miles by road (we didn't have money to buy air tickets), would decide to sleep on the floor of hotel rooms with many of my colleagues to save money, would choose to give my own property as a bank guarantee to secure a facility for the organization and postpone salaries. Every second I work for the company has been worth it— I still believe.

1worldspace's vision has inspired me with the firm determination that one day we will make it happen for others. And I promise, I will continue to do what I can to make the dream of 1worldspace come true.
